About
Zanjero Park is a converted water retention basin and opened April 19, 2008. The park is located on the east side of Lindsay Rd just south of the Loop 202 freeway. It’s mainly known for horseback riding, with almost a mile of horseback riding trails, plus hitching posts and water troughs. There’s also a multi-use trail that links up to the San Tan Trail. The park has a water feature and horse-related amenities like horse-tie ups and a horse drinking fountain.
Two ramadas are reservable (Ramada #1 and Ramada #2), and both are listed as having no power available. Note: there are no restroom facilities.
Why stop: Great if you’re into trails—especially for horseback riding—and the multi-use trail connection makes it an easy stop for exploring.
Good to know: No restroom facilities. The two reservable ramadas (Ramada #1 and #2) are listed as having no power available. Horse amenities include horse-tie ups and a horse drinking fountain.
Hours: Daily 5:30AM – 10:00PM
